The overall structure and key advantages of the CNC external arc grinding machine for drum brake pads

Function: It is used for grinding the outer arc of drum brake pads, with two-axis numerical control interpolation. For equal-thickness and unequal-thickness pads, only the processing parameters need to be adjusted without changing the mechanical parts. The adjustment is fast, and one person can operate multiple machines. 
Advantages: 
The hub does not need to be adjusted. It can be processed into equal-thickness pieces and unequal-thickness pieces (T-shaped pieces). This is different from the traditional external arc grinding method, where unequal-thickness pieces are processed by adjusting the gaskets on the hub. 
2. The gap between the hub and the grinding wheel is controlled by a two-axis numerical control system. The brake pad size is compensated and adjusted through the program. Just input the relevant data of the brake pad, and the program can generate it automatically. By offsetting the reference coordinate and fine-tuning the thickness of the brake pad, it can be adjusted quickly. Compared with traditional mechanical external arc grinding machines, it has the advantages of convenient operation, high precision and fast adjustment. 
3. Adopting a modular workbench makes product replacement easier and helps reduce costs. 
4. The processing speed can be specified by the program, facilitating its matching with the speeds of the preceding and subsequent processes.
