Vertical CNC Drilling Machine (5-axis CNC)

This drilling machine is a fully automatic vertical drilling machine for automotive drum brake pads. The control system is CNC five-axis. Its performance can be summarized as "intelligent, environmentally friendly and energy-saving". Specifically, it is manifested as:
1. Intelligent: Controlled by a computer, after setting the processing program according to the product specifications, click the program button to start production. The operation is simple, featuring flexible and convenient operation, high speed and accuracy, and automatic high efficiency. During operation, it automatically feeds materials, rotates, divides, drills, discharges, collects and discharges materials, and displays the processing status in real time. At the same time, the drilling machine is easy to clamp, not limited by angles and dimensions; installation and debugging are flexible, and maintenance is convenient. 
2. High efficiency: In the traditional production process of brake pads, workers need to continuously perform tasks such as mounting, drilling, lowering and stacking by hand. The labor intensity is very high, and only strong workers can adapt to this job. With the use of CNC drilling machines, workers only need to assist in loading materials. The machine operates automatically, and workers can simply pack the products. The labor intensity is greatly reduced, and under the same conditions, the efficiency is increased by more than three times. 
3. High accuracy and quality of the product: The traditional method of drilling holes for brake pads is mainly done by manual drilling, resulting in poor drilling accuracy, which is only 0.15 to 0.30mm. The waste rate is high. However, the CNC drilling machine uses coordinate positioning, which ensures high drilling accuracy for brake pads, reaching 0.05 to 0.15mm. This exceeds the requirements of the Chinese standard, and the defective rate is significantly reduced. 
4. Wide range of processable products: It can perform drilling on various types of drum brake pads with a width of 225mm, a radius of 142~245mm, and a drilling hole diameter of 10.5~23.5mm. Additionally, the modular quick-change method enables the production of different products. It only takes 20 minutes to change the type of production. Unlike manual or semi-automatic drilling machines, changing products requires replacing the hub or changing the machine for production, which significantly saves time.

5. Environmental Protection: In traditional drum-type brake pads, dust flies during drilling, filling the entire workshop with micro-particles of the friction pads. These particles are everywhere, polluting the air while also posing a significant threat to the health of employees, potentially causing occupational diseases. However, the CNC drilling machine is equipped with a secondary dust removal system, with a dust removal rate of 95%. It can collect the dust generated during drilling through the dust collection system, and then heat and press it into sheets for reuse. 
6. Work efficiency: Due to the differences in the composition of the brake pads, their density, the number and size of the holes, and the proficiency of the workers, the drilling output of the CNC drilling machine per shift (8 hours) is approximately 2,800 to 8,000 pieces.
